Join us for JCPL’s first ever Smash Brothers Tournament! Compete at Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced levels. The three single-elimination, one on one tournaments will run simultaneously at different stations. Registration for each level is open from September 1, 2024 until midnight on October 11, 2024 (or until filled, whichever comes first.) Register with your first and last name (not your gamer tag!) and a valid cell phone number for the level of play best suited to you. Within a week of your registration, you will receive a text message confirming your spot. You must visit the check-in table by 10:00 am on game day to ensure your spot is reserved. If you do not arrive by 10:00 am you may forfeit your spot. The first game for each level will begin promptly at 10:15 am.
Advanced: You can play the game on “hard,” have unlocked all the characters, and probably play multi-player online. You may have even competed in some tournaments. Anything less than serious competition will be boring for you. Note: Advanced players must bring their own consoles and controllers. Game play will be set to “hard.” Winner will receive $100 in Comic Surge Cash. Advanced Rules.
