Learn & Go: Cards for Veterans

Wilmore is celebrating Salute to Service this summer, and we get the chance to help out! One of the parts of the celebration is the opportunity to write a letter or card to any veteran at Thompson-Hood. Stop by the tables in the gallery to learn a little more about the different branches of the military and to write your own card or letter to one of our local veterans.

 We will have art supplies to decorate cards and even a typewriter if you want to try your hand at some old-fashioned letter writing! All supplies will be provided, and the library will deliver the cards to Thomson-Hood for all the participants.
